Parent Seminar at Reade Street Prep Preschool

This morning, Chelsey Kotler and I had the privilege of conducting a parent seminar at Reade Street Prep Preschool. Our discussion topic was Speech and Language Development in Preschoolers. We went over Speech and Language terminology, normal speech-language development, and “red flags” to look out for as their children develop. Parents were given some “at home” ways to enhance their child’s speech and language skills. The biggest take away from the session was that parents learned about the different resources NYS provides for therapeutic services. Thank you Reade Street Prep educators and parents for having us!
