Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for Evidence Based Practice

Recently a few professionals in the field decided to launch a new Facebook Group for SLPs interested in evidence based practice in speech language pathology. It was created for clinicians to explore and make sense of a myriad of intervention promises and questionable treatments in the fields of health care and education.

The group was established specifically for the purpose of research inquiry. While there are numerous other groups where clinical expertise is being used routinely in support of questionable practices, our group strives to provide articles and references reflecting solid research based practices in speech language pathology as well as related fields. We happily welcome professionals from related fields (e.g., special, education, neuropsychology, etc) who can contribute meaningfully to our discussions and further our knowledge into their respective fields.
